Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you buy and use Seed of Faith, why we collect it, how it is protected, and how you can exercise your rights. We comply with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address and the plan you purchased, so we can create your app login and give you access.
- Payment data: processed entirely by Stripe. We receive only the transaction result, the last four digits of the card, brand, country and billing details required for tax and anti-fraud purposes. We never receive or store your full card number or CVC.
- Usage data inside the app: which devotionals you opened, progress and preferences. Anything you write in the private prayer journal is stored encrypted and is visible only to you — we do not read it, sell it or use it for advertising.
- Support data: the messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: IP address, device type and browser, used for security, fraud prevention and aggregate analytics.
Sensitive data
Seed of Faith is a faith and reflection product. We do not require, request or process health data, body photos, medical exams or biometric data. Any religious preference you reveal by choosing content stays inside your account and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Why we process it (legal basis)
- Performing the contract: giving you access to the product you paid for.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting and consumer-protection records.
- Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, security and product improvement.
- Consent: optional marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share data with
Only with service providers strictly necessary to run the product: Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and our accountant for tax obligations. We never sell your personal data. Some providers are located outside Brazil; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Account and content data for as long as your access is active; transaction and invoice records for the period required by Brazilian tax law (currently 5 years); support messages for up to 2 years.
Security
The site and the app are served exclusively over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed, data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and access is restricted to authorised personnel. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.
Your rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, deletion, portability, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. Write to keniaolca@gmail.com and we will answer within 15 days. If you are not satisfied you may contact the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure checkout, plus anonymous aggregate analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Children
Seed of Faith is sold only to adults aged 18 or over.
